This is how it all started…

For more than two decades, I have worked in IT with one goal in mind: make technology feel dependable, safe, and human. I began in the all hands role of general IT, the person people call when nothing works and everything is urgent. Those early years taught me how to listen first, troubleshoot calmly, and solve problems in a way that leaves people feeling supported, not overwhelmed. I have helped individuals and organizations keep their devices, systems, and networks running smoothly, but what has always mattered most to me is trust. When someone hands you their laptop, their account access, or their business operations, they are handing you a piece of their life. I have built my career around earning that trust through consistency, clear communication, and the kind of care that does not stop at fixing the immediate issue, but looks ahead to prevent the next one.

That same sense of responsibility is what pulled me toward cybersecurity and network administration, and it is the path I am actively pursuing today. The internet has made life easier, but it has also given scammers and other bad actors a constant doorway into people’s homes, finances, and identities. I want to be the person who helps close that door. My focus is on protecting those who are most often targeted: children who are still learning what is safe online, and older adults who deserve peace, dignity, and confidence when they use technology. I care about practical protection that actually works in real life, stronger passwords, safer account settings, smarter network habits, and simple guidance that does not shame anyone for not knowing. If I can help a family avoid a heartbreaking scam, keep a child from being exploited, or give an older person the confidence to use technology without fear, then I am doing the work that matters.
